I’ve always thought of a blog as an archive of memories and thoughts, regardless of what you’re writing about. Be it food, photography, lifestyle, etc. At the end of the day, whatever you write about, directly or indirectly, reflects what you’re going through and your experiences.

My Monthly Memories is a great way of keeping a collection of everythMy Monthly Memoriesing you’ve been going through, what you’ve experienced, and what you’ve learned all month, for both you and your readers. It’s a lovely way of looking back, especially after an exceedingly long time.

WHAT CAN I WRITE ABOUT?

This event will consist of posts written about your overall month. You could write about something that has greatly affected you as a person, what you’ve learned from an experience, a goal you had set for the month, anything you want! You can get as creative as you want with it! The event is all about you and what you want to share monthly with your audience and for the future, yourself.

WHAT NEXT

  1. Write a blog post with the tag #mymonthlymemories about your monthly experiences before the 7th of every month.
  2. Feel free to use the event picture found below in your own posts.
  3. Leave a ping back (link) at the beginning of your memories to my post of the month so I can easily find it! You may even leave a comment on that post with the link if you wish.
  4. Share your posts on your social media sites with the #mymonthlymemories.

I really hope you join this month as well us in the upcoming months as well, it would the best having you on-board! Thank you very much for taking the time to read this.My Monthly Memories

    1. Hi Robert, thank you so much. You post it on your blog with the tag mentioned in the post or with a link to my page so a pingback appears here. If you have an more questions, please don’t hesitate to ask 🙂

      1. I’ll have to work on that as my blog is so wine focused, the memories post would be pretty out of place unless I make it wine focused and that doesn’t work to well. I’ll figure it out. I might just have to set up a private blog to post to.

  1. I’ll give it a try. I’m currently away from home again, and have way too much on my plate… I’m barely keeping up with my blog, or commitments to HuffPo. It’s great idea, and I’ll see what I come up with. Thanks for the invite!

  2. I will definitely be participating this week.
Thanks for the invite and the idea! What a great way to summarize. I agree-blogs (no matter the content) are about sharing bits and pieces of our lives. In the long run we’ll look back and see all the memories. A great way to compile great moments!

  3. Thank you Basant for this wonderful idea. A few days ago I decided to participate (I was shocked by the amazing amount of blogs I follow that decided to participate as well), and today I decided to edit it.. I thought of changing the photograph to yours, but then I noticed…

    “My Monlthy Memories”????

    Hahaha…. take care!

      1. And it consist of everything that happened for the current month right? Or tje month before that? For instance, it’ll be March in a few days, my monthly memories consists of everything that happened in March, that should be posted before the first week ends? Am i getting it wrong? Sorry for the inconvenience.

  7. Hi, I’ve just come across your blog via another (so far seems to be the easiest way to find new content to read). I’m very new to blogging, your monthly memories fits perfectly within my blogs needs so I will definitely be joining in. 1. Hi there! I would love to have you participate in the event! A pingback works by just leaving a link to something in your own post. For example, if you were to leave a link to one of my posts in your blog, I would get a pingback and it would appear in the comments. It works for all blogs and you can even leave pingbacks of your blog on your other blog posts too! Thanks for commenting and if you have anymore questions please don’t hesitate to ask!
